One of my favorite waymarking categories is "Then and Now" You find a historic photo and then go out and find the spot where that photo was taken and take a current one. Here is an example, from Vineland MN, near the Mille Lacs Indian Museum.

"Minnesota's Lost Towns: Northern Edition" was featured on Lakeland Public Television's "Common Ground" on Thursday April 9, 7:00 PM. For those of you not in the Lakeland's broadcast area, the program is available on Lakeland TV's YouTube channel and at their website www.LPTV.org. Segments for the program were filmed in Lincoln and in Buena Vista and features author and long-time resident interviews. More details and links to follow.
